Urgent recall: Noodle buy pulled from stores in one state amid ‘reaction’ fears

A noodle buy has been urgently recalled from stores in one Australian state amid fears it could cause a reaction in some consumers.

Food Standards Australia has issued a new alert advising that Nissin Big Cup Noodle Curry 120g products have been pulled from shelves.

The recalled item has been available for sale at independent food retailers in Victoria.

They have best before dates of March 7, 2023, and March 30, 2023.

Authorities say the item has been recalled is due to the presence of undeclared allergens (egg, milk, peanut, soy, sesame).

“Any consumers who have an egg, milk, peanut, soy and/or sesame allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia advises.

“Consumers who have an egg, milk, peanut, soy and/or sesame allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
