There will be ‘no change’ to stage 3 tax cuts package in the budget: Clennell
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says there will be no change to the stage 3 tax cuts package in the upcoming budget and he thinks there won’t be any change in the May budget either.
“Has the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese been too smart by half by letting the Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Finance Minister Katy Gallagher go out on this particular frolic from last Tuesday onwards?” Mr Clennell said.
“It’s probably the first uncomfortable moment for Albanese in the job, although he still looks powerful, I guess, in squashing the talk.”
Mr Clennell said Prime Minister Albanese recently insisted “over and over again” there will not be a change on stage 3.
