‘The Mandalorian’ Fans, Pedro Pascal Warned He’ll Be “Replaced” After This Season 3 News

Pedro Pascal sure knows how to protect a secret.

Ahead of his Saturday Night Live debut, the actor joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. He chatted all things The Last of Us and of course, The Mandalorian season 3. It’s been nearly three years since the Disney+ series premiered new episodes and with a Star Wars fan fervor behind it, the anticipation is palpable.

During the segment, Jimmy asked if Pedro could spill anything about what’s in store. That said, the talk show host avoided pulling out too many spoilers while Pedro laughed and teased that he’d shared everything. Jokes aside, he revealed that there will be more Mandalorians.

“A lot of them. Big, epic battle. Plural, maybe?” Pedro said on the show.

When prompted to say more about Baby Yoda’s upcoming adventures, Pedro seemed far more reluctant to share details.

The Mandalorian season 2 finale last left viewers at the brink of Grogu’s powerful connection to the Force. In the mix, the Disney+ spinoff The Book of Boba Fett continued his story, which ultimately ended with The Child leaving Yoda’s lightsaber behind and reuniting with Mando.

Pedro assured audience members that Baby Yoda is in the next season “still learning, teaching. Protected. Protecting.” After speaking in clipped answers, the actor finally added, “I think if I say anymore, I’ll be replaced. Like, not just as the Mandalorian, but as a human being in life.”

He continued to joke about Disney: “Their technology is so sophisticated, they’ll just replace [me with] a different Pedro Pascal.”

The Mandalorian fans cried with laughter from the interview and responded to the show’s TikTok video with excitement. “Anytime he talks about a role he can’t spoil he goes straight for ‘they’ll kill me’ narrative ????,” one person wrote in the comments. “I love his voice! Can’t [wait] for Mando season 3!” another added. “How cute, when he talks about Grogu,” a different user said.

While it seems like the Narcos alum is under strict instructions by Disney to keep quiet, it won’t be much longer until fans can see it all unfold. The Mandalorian season 3 episode 1 premieres on Disney+ come March 1.
