South Bay restaurants have Mother’s Day offerings for foodie moms

Mother’s Day is May 14, and foodie moms might appreciate a flight of mimosas, etouffé, sparkling wine, live jazz or crêpes in a spot that feels like a trip to Paris.

In Los Gatos, Enoteca La Storia offers an Italian-inspired brunch from 11am to 4pm, with Eggs in Purgatory; asparagus and fontina or smoked salmon and mascarpone frittatas; Italian Benedict, and paninis with Sicilian tuna or truffled prosciutto cotto. Wrights Station on Summit Road offers three different Mother’s Day brunch boxes from Chef Jennifer Chiarella of Tessora’s Barro di Vino in Campbell to accompany a flight of four wines, including the new 2022 rosé.  Choose from smoked salmon pinwheel with lemon herb cream cheese; candied bacon rosette; or roasted veggie and tomato hummus with spiraled zucchini. All brunch boxes include cherry burrata salad; a decadent deviled egg duo; mini Irish cheddar scones and whipped chive butter; banana bread baked doughnut holes and blackberry bostock.
