Tragically, it is still unknown if the Harry Styles fan who left their ticket in an Uber was on their way to or from the concert, or if they even made it to the show.

The ridesharing company has released the seventh edition of its annual Lost and Found Index.

The most common hour for losing stuff in Ubers will come as no surprise, with most items lost about 1am.

Interestingly, quite a few fiances and newlyweds were making the most of the rideshare service in the lead up to their big day.

However, they seem to have been so struck with love that they left wedding dresses, marriage certificates and even wedding rings behind in their Uber.

Brisbane takes home the award for the least disorganised city in Australia, after leaving behind the least amount of items for the second year running.

Sydney on the other hand was deemed the most forgetful.

If you happen to wake up in a panic, Uber does have a handy feature to report and recover lost items.

How to retrieve lost items

Here’s what to do:

• Tap “Your Trips” and select the trip where you left something
• Scroll down and tap “Find lost item”
• Tap “Contact driver about a lost item”
• Scroll down and enter the phone number you would like to be contacted at. Tap submit.
• If you lost your personal phone, enter a friend’s phone number instead (you can do this by logging into your account on a computer, or using a friend’s phone).
• Your phone will ring and connect you directly with your driver’s mobile number.
• If your driver picks up and confirms that your item has been found, co-ordinate a mutually convenient time and place to meet for its return to you.
• If your driver doesn’t pick up, leave a detailed voicemail describing your item and the best way to contact you.

If you can’t find a suitable to meet up with the driver, you can use Uber’s same-day delivery service Uber Package to retrieve the item.
