Secret Invasion Trailer: Daisy Johnson’s Absence Has The Internet Screaming – Looper

There was a spike in Quake love on Twitter as fans went frame by frame through the “Secret Invasion” trailer, hoping to get a glimpse of the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and getting nothing back. “THIS LOOKS GREAT AND ALL BUT WHERE’S DAISY??” said @fairqytales. Other fans also expressed their concern over the hero not being seen, with @sarahbelles23 saying, “In the comics Daisy & her team saved Fury during ‘Secret Invasion.’ It would make zero sense to not include her [on] the show since she’s a main character in the comics. SHE HAS TO COME BACK.”

While some fans might be disappointed Quake isn’t making waves in the trailer, some are still clinging to hope that a few frames tease her appearance after all. In one shot, we can see a woman leaning over a body as a squadron of helicopters fly overhead, leading @CARTERSBISHOP to ask, “DAISY SKYE LOUISE JOHNSON IS THAT YOU?” On close inspection, it looks more like Emilia Clarke, who is set to appear on the show as G’iah, daughter of old Fury friend Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). When there are shape-shifting aliens involved, that could be absolutely anyone. For now, we’ll have to wait and see if Quake makes an appearance when “Secret Invasion” hits Disney+ on June 21.
