‘Ridiculous proposal’: Greens slammed for push to open injecting rooms for students
Sky News host James Macpherson questions “what drugs the Victorian Greens are on” as they push for the state government’s injecting facility to open for students and permanently remain next to a primary school.
The Victorian parliament will debate this week whether to make the North Richmond supervised injecting facility permanent.
Mr Macpherson slammed Greens’ drug-harm reduction spokesman Aiv Puglielli for claiming the push was based on “expert health advice”.
“Progressive politics is now an inside joke where politicians and activists compete to see who can come up with the most ridiculous proposal and then laugh together at how far they can push it,” Mr Macpherson said.
