Prince William & Kate Middleton Are “Very Upset” with Mike Tindall for a Strange Reason
Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly less than thrilled with Mike Tindall joining the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
As a reminder: Mike (the husband of William’s cousin Zara Tindall, aka Princess Anne’s daughter) is currently starring on the reality show in Australia, and joined the cast without asking permission from King Charles. Royal expert Angela Levin told The Express that Wills and Kate in particular have been left “very upset” by his decision to appear on the show, not to mention “very sad.”
While Mike hasn’t talked about the royals on I’m a Celebrity, he did open up about meeting Zara, saying they both enjoy “getting smashed.”

“I was at the World Cup, she was out watching,” Mike told his fellow cast mates earlier this week. “I got dropped from the semi-final. I was pissed off and so I went for a beer with another guy who got dropped and a guy who was over. They’d met her before and they introduced us and then got chatting. First actual date, just went out for lunch locally. And ended up being quite a boozy one. Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start.”
A source previously told The Telegraph that Mike joining the show was a “massive coup,” adding that he’s “had a box seat for some of the most important moments in royal history for generations. He is sure to be discreet, but his sheer presence means this series will be an absolute must-watch.”
Meanwhile, The Times reported that Mike “did not seek permission from Charles” before signing onto the series, and added that “Palace courtiers may find that pleas to reconsider fall on deaf ears” considering he’s expected to earn a six-figure salary.
