‘Priceless’ Princess Charlotte moment at coronation concert sends internet wild

The Prince and Princess of Wales have stepped out with their two oldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to celebrate the coronation concert.

Their youngest, Prince Louis, was likely tucked up in bed considering the late start time of the event at Windsor Castle..

The family was seated in the front row of the royal box beside King Charles and Queen Camilla.

George matched his father Prince William in a navy suit with a patterned blue tie, while Charlotte was seen in a Self-Portrait tiered chiffon dress.

Princess Kate stunned in a red Alexander McQueen suit accessorised with a statement diamond necklace.

The family watched musical acts including Lionel Richie, who performed hits All Night Long and Easy (Like Sunday Morning) and Katy Perry who sang Firework and Roar.

At one point, Charlotte was spotted singing along to the latter Perry hit, waving her flag from side to side.

“That was the cutest moment,” one fan reacted.

“I looove that Katy Perry x Princess Charlotte interaction!!” a second said.

“My favourite bit of the whole evening,” another remarked.

“Princess Charlotte ‘s sweet voice!!!” one said, as another called the moment “priceless”.

Other talents that took to the stage included Olly Murs, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Nicole Scherzinger, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench.

British pop group Take That ended the concert.

Other celebrities to make video appearances include Tom Cruise, Hugh Jackman, Joan Collins and Bear Grylls.

William later took to the stage to deliver a speech of his own – paying tribute to his father.

“I want to say a few words about my father and why I believe this weekend is so important. But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t go on all night long,” he joked.

“As my grandmother said when she was crowned, ‘Coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future’.

“And I know she’s up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. She would be a proud mother.”

Kate, George and Charlotte watched on proudly as the Prince of Wales engaged with the crowd.

In another hilarious moment, Charles was spotted grimacing at a cheeky joke from Downtown Abbey and Paddington star Hugh Bonneville.

Sharing a tribute, the actor said that Charles “is a painter, an artist… The artist formerly known as prince,” he joked, making a play on how the late Purple Rain singer was known.

Charles appeared to let out a surprise burst of laughter before turning to Queen Camilla and grimacing.
