Papa Johns Joins Forces With Doritos for Epic New Menu Item
Papa Johns’ new menu item is here to give Taco Bell a run for its money.
The beloved pizza joint is teaming up with Doritos to introduce the Doritos® Cool Ranch® Papadia, a brand new, limited-edition offering in their line of flatbread-style sandwiches.
According to a press release, the savory new flavor comes with your choice of chicken, beef, steak or other fillings, drizzled with a specially created Doritos® Cool Ranch® Flavored sauce, and then toasted before finishing off with a dusting of ranch seasoning. You also get a side of sauce for dipping!
The Papadia is inspired by Italian piadina sandwiches and was added to the menu in 2020. It combines original Papa Johns crust with toppings to create a combination pizza sandwich.

Better Pizza.® promise with the iconic flavor of Doritos® Cool Ranch to create this limited-time Papadia,” Kimberly Bean, VP of Menu Strategy & Calendar Planning, said in a press release. “Our partnership with Frito Lay allowed us to leverage the bold taste of Doritos® Cool Ranch® to reimagine a specialty Cool Ranch® Flavored sauce and seasoning for the Papadia, which offers new and current consumers the ultimate chip and sandwich experience and gives them a bold taste in every bite, so delicious you’ll wish you had thought of it first.”

The new option will role out to Papa Rewards loyalty members first on May 1, before becoming available nationwide on May 4 until July 23, retailing at $7.99.
