By India Today Web Desk: Marnus Labuschagne is ready to give away of his shirts to fans after a hilarious incident occurred during Australia’s opening ODI against England on Thursday, November 17 at the Adelaide Oval.
During the fag end of the game, which Australia won by six wickets, a fan asked Warner for his shirt.
The fan held a banner that read, “David Warner, can I have ur (sic) shirt?”
Warner, who was sitting inside the dressing room, asked the fan to get one T-shirt from Labuschagne. “Get one off Marnus.”
Another fan was sitting in the stands, who asked Labuschagne to give him his shirt.
Marnus replied and wrote, “I’ve got 2 shirts ready to go who are these legends?”
Warner had a decent outing as he was Australia’s standout batter in the game. The left-handed batter scored 86 runs off 84 balls with the help of 10 fours and one six.
He top-scored for the Aussies and helped them chase down 288 with 19 balls to spare.
Warner was also involved in a 147-run stand for the opening wicket along with Travis Head, who got out on 69.
Warner had made sure that Australia got themselves in a strong position after not having an overly great run in the T20 World Cup 2022.
Labuschagne had an off day in Adelaide after he got out to David Willey after scoring four runs off six balls.
The second and penultimate match of the ODI series is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 19 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
