Ronaldo in a series of accusations said that he was being forced out of Manchester United and that he did not respect manager Erik ten Hag.

Carragher called out Ronaldo over his statements and pointed out at the player’s actions from the ongoing season. The legendary forward has been a point of controversy throughout the season for his behaviour and commitment to the club.

“Ronaldo “I don’t respect the manager” – Ronaldo under ETH: Announced he wanted to leave, refused to come on as a substitute, walked off the bench & left before the game had finished,” Carragher wrote on Twitter.

“99% of United fans will be on the side of ETH, which shows how badly Ronaldo has handled this,” he further added.

Ronaldo has been benched for the most of the United season while the younger players in his position have shined in the minutes that they played. Ronaldo’s interview came out hours after United’s late win against Fulham.

Earlier Ronaldo staged a walkout in another of United’s win, where he refused to come on as a sub late in the day.
