IKEA's Making an Unexpected Change to Their Product Lineup
IKEA is a staple in many apartments and houses. From versatile bookcases to narrow shoe storage cabinets that can fit and work in even the smallest entryway (ask me how I know) and so much more, this Swedish store is known to specialize in affordable and functional home decor.
There are a few reasons why shoppers gravitate toward this home furnishings retailer: the products are priced fairly low, they’re well-designed and they’re relatively easy to assemble. If you know you need to furnish a room in your house, replace a couch downstairs or load up on kitchen utensils, IKEA is a popular choice.
One thing you wouldn’t necessarily consider, though, would be to shop at IKEA for at-home gym products. However, IKEA is launching a limited workout collection, DAJLIEN, in 2024.
Curious about what that will look like? We’re sharing some of the upcoming items you can expect to see available in January—for a limited time.

According to a press release shared with Parade, IKEA explains that DAJLIEN is “a limited home training collection with 19 versatile products that support movement in everyday life and enables people to create healthy habits at home.”
This mission of movement in everyday life is reflected even in the name of the collection itself, as DAJLIEN is the word for “daily” in the accent of IKEA’s birthplace, Småland, the press release shares.
