Herbed Open-Faced Turkey Burgers With Cilantro Yogurt Sauce Are Stacked With Nutritious Toppings
Ground turkey never looked so good.
1. Use a food processor to finely chop carrot, celery and onion.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine vegetables, turkey, egg, paprika and onion salt. Season with salt and pepper. Mix with your hands and form 6 patties. Sprinkle with additional paprika and chill for at least 10 minutes.
3. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Coat with nonstick cooking spray. Cook patties until browned on the outside and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together yogurt, 1/4 cup cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper.
5. While patties are resting, drizzle naan with olive oil and grill until warm and lightly toasted.
6. Place one naan on each plate. Top with a spoonful of yogurt sauce, sprouts, a turkey burger, micro greens and sliced avocado. Top with more sauce, cilantro, red chile and an extra squeeze of lime juice. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil, if desired.
