I appeared for the eQ Technologic test + interview in August 2022 through college placement for the Software Engineer role. A total of 4 rounds were conducted. The whole procedure was in virtual mode. 

Eligibility: 

  • SSC, HSC, Diploma: 60% & above 
  • Engineering: 6.75 CGPA & above

Round 1 Aptitude: The aptitude round consisted of 14 aptitude questions and 2 coding questions. The test consisted of multiple sections 

  • Logical reasoning
  • Quantitative aptitude
  • Coding
  • Coding questions were based on a Number system, LCM/HCF, sorting, and Pattern Printing. 
  • Coding questions were easy-level questions.1 hour was given for 2 coding questions I submitted both questions in 14 minutes. 
  • Only those who could do both coding questions were carried forward.

Round 2 Technical Interview: First technical interview lasted around 1 hour and it was conducted on MSTeams. It started with a formal introduction after the interviewer asked about my project and he asked the following questions.

  • Basic computer network questions
  • Data structure concepts
  • DBMS concepts
  • Basic SQL queries.
  • Linked list questions
  • Implementation of Queue and Tree on IDE
  • Puzzles from gfg

Round 3 Technical Interview 2:  This round also lasted for 1 hour. In this round interviewer was more focused on problem-solving abilities. He asked the following questions. 

  • Design system for IPL using OOP
  • Asked implementation of K means algorithms as I had AI/ML on my resume I could just tell him intuition
  • Middle of the linked list
  • 3rd largest element in the linked list.
  • The nth largest element in the array
  • Easy puzzles

Round 4 HR Interview:  This round also lasted for 45 minutes. In this round interviewer asked typical HR questions. 

  • 1 hour before the interview he emailed a question we had to just write code for it. It was instructed not to run the code. 
  • It was a calendar printing question. 
  • In the question, they had said that consider a function returning odd days of the month. 
  • We just had to print the calendar of that month based on that.

Tip: 4 core subjects OS, CN, DBMS, and DS required.
