‘Big Bang Theory’ Fans, Kaley Cuoco Gave a Major Pregnancy Update During the Oscars

Viewers tuned in to see some of Hollywood’s most famous names at the 2023 Oscars. But one person who didn’t make an appearance was Kaley Cuoco, who made a splash at the W Magazine Best Performance party the year before. Well, she not only spoke out about where she was on Sunday, but she also gave a heartfelt pregnancy update in the process.

On the night of the 95th Academy Awards, The Big Bang Theory actress shared on her Instagram Stories that she chose to watch the televised show at home with her boyfriend, Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey. Kaley then uploaded two photos — one of the couple holding mini Oscars, and another of a mirror selfie showing off her pregnant belly.

“Our Oscars LOL @tommypelphrey,” she wrote about the Polaroid on March 12.

But for those wondering if The Flight Attendant star didn’t make it to an Oscars afterparty because she had gone into labor, Kaley dismissed this theory with more snaps. Just one day later, on Monday, she posted two more mirror selfies confirming that she’s still waiting on the arrival of her baby girl.

“Oh there she is lol,” she penned on one of the pictures.

Despite her absence at any 2023 Oscars events, the upcoming Based on a True Story star seems to be enjoying her last moments before the birth of her daughter. Kaley and Tom announced the pregnancy in October 2022. Though she didn’t share how many months she was at that point, it looks like it won’t be long before we see a birth announcement from the duo.

As for how the 8 Simple Rules alum is preparing for the next chapter in her life, Kaley revealed her plans to wing the first few months after bringing her daughter home.

“I have no plan and I’ve read zero books, so that’s the type of mom I will be,” she told Entertainment Tonight in February. “All the ways I’m not like a prepper. I’m just not that way. It’s gonna be great, I trust the process. Tom has googled enough for the both of us. He could probably deliver this baby at this point.”
