‘Abhorrent’: Daniel Andrews slammed for neo-Nazi protest response
Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan slammed the “abhorrent” anti-immigration protest in Melbourne on the weekend which resulted in neo-Nazis clashing with police.
Mr Tehan said there is “no place” for Nazi salutes in Australia and called for Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews to act.
“We thought we were going to get action, but it seems like state governments … Dan Andrews seems to have sat on his hands – a lot of talking, no action,” he told Sky News Australia.
“And I think it is time he acted and acted very quickly because there’s just no place for it.”
