Andrew Clennell predicts Labor will retain a ‘healthy lead’ in the polls
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Labor could see a “mild dip” in their political standing but should retain a “healthy lead” from the results of tonight’s Newspoll in The Australian.
“There’s no doubt they’ll retain a healthy lead no matter what happens,” Mr Clennell said.
“We can expect a Newspoll in The Australian tonight, reflecting the standing of the government post-budget, I suspect we could see a mild dip in the government’s standing.
“Whatever the result it has the potential to boost the confidence of either side of politics this week.”
