Travel by air and car adds the most carbon footprint when it comes to tourism. Use efficient modes of transportation, such as trains, bus, trams, and bicycles to roam around the destination. Transports run by renewable energy sources will make a lesser to zero emissions because of your travel.
3. Conserve water and energy
Be mindful and do whatever you can do to conserve the local water and energy. Turn off the lights, AC, fans, TV before you leave your hotel room, handwash your own clothes instead of opting for laundry services, take a quick shower instead of a long bath.
