Scary moment weather presenter collapses on live TV
A weather presenter has shocked viewers and colleagues after she collapsed during a live TV broadcast in the US.
The CBS Los Angeles meteorologist had just been introduced during the 7am KCAL News broadcast with co-anchors Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim, when she became pale and collapsed to the ground.
Footage of the scary moment was shared online, showing the hosts throwing to a commercial as the incident unfolded.
Thankfully, Schwartz has since assured viewers that she is “going to be OK”.

Schwartz could see seen standing at the desk before her eyes rolled back and she collapsed forward. Her legs then gave out and she fell to the ground.
As it became clear she had collapsed, Medina said: “You know, we’re going to go ahead and go to break, right now.”

Schwartz shared an update on her Facebook page later that afternoon, writing: “Thanks for all the texts, calls, and well wishes. I am going to be ok!”
Fans shared their well wishes on the post with one person commenting: “So scary!! I am glad you are ok!”
“Hope all is well and you are doing OK! That was scary!” another wrote.

It is unclear what caused Schwartz to faint, but a similar incident occurred in 2014 while she was working at a different station.
The former Mrs. California previously opened up about a miraculous recovery from a heart condition after she was diagnosed with a leaky valve at the time.
