You want fries in that ice cream? Now you can get it at LA’s Van Leeuwen

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream has partnered with the Idaho Potato Commission on a limited edition ice cream that features bits of french fries.

It’s called Idaho Malted Milkshake & Fries, and it’s available at Van Leeuwen shops in Los Angeles County as well as online, according to a news release. It costs $12 a carton.

Its creators were going for an old-fashioned diner vibe, according to Van Leeuwen’s website, where people would order malts with their meals, which were apt to include fries.

To further sweeten the deal, the Big Idaho Potato Truck, a flatbed hauling a giant replica of a spud, is scheduled to visit the Van Leeuwen shop at 5915 Franklin Ave., Los Angeles, all day today, Feb. 23.
