UK’s best fish and chip restaurants for 2023 named

The Fry Awards revealed this year’s best fish and chip takeaways and restaurants in the country. Mystery diners travelled across the UK to taste hundreds of fish and chips taking into account not only the flavour but also the cleanliness of each establishment and the staff knowledge and professionalism as well as their social media presence. Restaurants needed to get 95 percent or over to qualify, so the standard is extremely high.
