Two more restaurants slated to open at outdoor Bay Area mall

More food options are headed to outdoor mall Bay Street Emeryville, including one opening this week.

The latest eateries to join the restaurant lineup are Oakland-based Arthur Mac’s Little Snack and San Francisco-based Saucy Asian. Arthur Mac’s will be the first of the two businesses to open, with its grand opening scheduled for Saturday.

Arthur Mac’s Tap & Snack, which is owned by the same restaurant group behind Drake’s Dealership and East Bay Spice Company, is slated to debut its second beer garden, called Arthur Mac’s Little Snack, at Bay Street Emeryville, serving a selection of local beers, wines, cider and more. On the food menu, guests can expect brick oven pizzas, hot wings and salads.

Saucy Asian also plans to debut its second Bay Area outpost at Bay Street Emeryville, though that opening won’t come until later this fall. The Asian fusion restaurant is best known for its poke, burritos and tacos enhanced with Korean flavor profiles.

“Saucy Asian starts with the marinade,” founder Andrew Shinn said in a statement shared with SFGATE. “It’s not fusion without a traditional foundation, so we use the flavors of home, like bulgogi marinade and add a California twist for a flavor that you can only find at Saucy Asian.”

Once opened, Saucy Asian will be located at the mall’s dining terrace, which already features Humphry Slocombe and Uchiwa Ramen, both of which opened last year. Earlier this month, Shake Shack opened its 11th Bay Area site at Bay Street Emeryville.
