Due to the show’s crude humor, some “Family Guy” fans may believe that Mila Kunis does not want her children to watch the cartoon as it may not be age-appropriate. However, she asserted that she has no issue with its content. Instead, she believes her son and daughter may find it confusing when they realize their mother voices a cartoon character. “I’ll let them discover it on their own. I think it’s so weird. It would be so — I don’t know, whenever they want to [watch it]. I think the show’s funny, I also — we curse in the house, it’s not the censorship that worries me, it’s the idea of, like, ‘Why is mom’s voice on a cartoon?'” the “That ’70s Show” actress told Entertainment Tonight Canada in 2020.
While Kunis may not be strict with what her children can watch on television, she and her husband have set firm rules in their household. During an April 2021 appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the actress shared that she is committed to making sure her son and daughter are not materialistic. She explained that they do not have many possessions and wear second-hand clothing. “Our kids are super fortunate. Like regardless, they were born at the right time to the right people, and I love them, but they are not going to be entitled a**holes,” vowed Kunis.
