The Internet Is Freaking Out Over Brie Larson’s Temp Tattoo Sleeve Debut on Instagram

Brie Larson just hopped on Instagram to show off a bunch of new tattoos — including a full sleeve, a design on her hip, and the words “don’t try to fix me, I’m not broken” on her leg. And naturally, all her followers flipped out — though, to be clear, these tattoos are fully temporary. Like, it’s right there in the caption: “What it’s like you’ve never seen temporary tattoos before!”

Even so, no-chill comments on the post include, “YOU DIDN’T EVEN WARN US HOW DARE YOU,” “I’M ON MY KNEES,” not to mention a bunch of people pleading with Brie to make these designs official.

Soooo, what are the tattoos for? The general consensus seems to be that this is Brie’s look for the upcoming Fast and the Furious movie Fast X, which she’s starring in alongside Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa, and Michelle Rodriguez.

Vin Diesel confirmed Brie was joining the franchise last year, writing on Instagram “You see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to yourself ‘that’s Captain Marvel.’ What you don’t see, however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast 10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”

Meanwhile, Brie revealed that her character’s name is “Tess:”

I guess Tess loves herself some Evanescence!
