Jackline Sabana Musa hit 31-year-old Payman Thagipur with her Toyota Kluger in the carpark of his Wentworth Point apartment block after he answered the door in his underwear with another woman at his home on June 27, 2020.

The 47-year-old was found guilty on Monday following a Supreme Court trial.

“I just hit him and he’s dead,” Musa said in a triple-0 phone call played to the jury.

She showed up at his home after he ignored her attempts to contact him by phone, telling responding police she was “hurt inside as a woman” when her “boyfriend” stopped responding.

In a police interview, Musa said: “I spit on his face. I was like this is how you are. Then I walked.”

A witness told police she saw Thagipur emerge from the building where he was hit by the four-wheel-drive.

“The guy came out of the building and all of a sudden this car just ran into him and crashed into the wall and he did not even move,” the witness told police.

Musa explained the moment of impact in her police interview.

“When I pressed (the) accelerator, the only thing I hear is (a) bang. I didn’t know that he’s coming towards me,” she said.

“Blood was everywhere, then I just turned the engine off and I called triple-0.

“I didn’t help him because he’s bleeding and I don’t know what is happening and I’m shaking.

“The only thing I can see is blood and I’m in shock, and I haven’t seen anything like this before and I don’t know what to do.”

Moments after her guilty verdict, Musa collapsed.

Paramedics assessed her before she was transported from court.

Musa faces a maximum life sentence at her sentencing hearing in February.
