A new location of Shake Shack is opening at San Francisco’s Stonestown Galleria.
Courtesy of Shake ShackCrinkle-cut fries, burgers and milkshakes are coming to Stonestown Galleria: A new Shake Shack is slated to open at the San Francisco mall on Dec. 22, according to a press release.
This will be the third location of the New York fast-casual chain in San Francisco, following its first in Cow Hollow in 2020 and its second at Westfield San Francisco Centre in 2021. The Stonestown Galleria restaurant will reportedly offer both indoor and outdoor dining options as well as a walk-up window for those who preorder.
Stonestown Galleria has built a reputation as a burgeoning foodie paradise as of late, with many popular international restaurant chains such as Marugame Udon, Gram Cafe & Pancakes, Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar opening in the mall over the past few years.
The Stonestown Galleria Shake Shack will be located at 3251 20th Ave., #OP186, in San Francisco.

On opening day, the new Shake Shack plans to host a public ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m., and the first 100 guests will receive a limited edition Shake Shack gift.
Shake Shack also opened a new location at Westfield Oakridge mall in San Jose on Thursday, a Shake Shack representative told SFGATE. A Walnut Creek location and an Emeryville location at the Bay Street Emeryville shopping center are both in the works for 2023 as well.
