Eva Longoria is glowing while on a tropical getaway in Mexico.
On April 2, the Desperate Housewives alum shared an Instagram carousel featuring snaps of her time in the Yucatán, where she visited the Mayan pyramids, swam in fresh cenotes, toured the ancient grounds and learned to cook traditional dishes with locals.
In the first photo, the actress is seen standing inside a cenote, with clear blue water up to her thighs. She wears a white one-piece swimsuit with tiny cutouts throughout by Gigi C. The semi-sheer piece features a mock turtleneck and zips up in the front.
Longoria’s powder-blue manicure coordinates to match her beachy look. She wears black eyeliner and rosy blush for the adventurous day, and leaves her straight her down.
The actress and producer is currently filming her series, Searching for Mexico, in which she tours different parts of the country and learns about local customs. During a talk with BAZAAR.com last year, Longoria said the show — and all her latest projects, including her tequila brand, Casa del Sol, and her foundation to help Latina professionals — are homages to her bicultural upbringing.
“It has lit my Mexican heart on fire with pride,” she said of filming the series. “I’ve always loved everything this country has to offer. I’ve always been so proud of it. But now through these brands, I get to do it on a bigger stage and with a louder microphone, and that’s exciting.”
