Sorry Dani, but ice cream is life.
“Biscuits with the boss” is no longer just a Ted and Rebecca ritual.
Ahead of the Season 3 premiere of Ted Lasso, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products announced an ice cream flavor inspired by the Emmy Award-winning Apple TV+ series called “Biscuits with the Boss.”
Given my love for both Jeni’s and Ted Lasso, I jumped at the chance to review the limited-edition ice cream. So, is Jeni’s “Biscuits with the Boss” a goal-winning flavor? Continue reading to find out…

Is Jeni’s Ted Lasso ice cream available to purchase?
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products’ exclusive collaboration officially launched on March 2. Unfortunately, “Biscuits with the Boss” has since sold out online, but the flavor is still available in Jeni’s scoop shops (located in 23 cities).

Jeni’s Ted Lasso ice cream review
I should preface this by stating I have never bit into a stick of butter, but my first bite of “Biscuits with the Boss” was exactly what I’d imagine that’d taste like…a cold stick of butter.
Sure, some say the “only thing better than butter, is more butter,” so I went back for another spoonful, but, for my second go, I scooped up one of the pieces of shortbread cookie crumbles that are featured in the salted butter sweet cream ice cream…goal!
The cookie pieces made all the difference to me, plus they added texture to the buttery, creamy ice cream. I made sure my subsequent bites had pieces as well.

While “Biscuits with the Boss” might not be my first choice (it’s still the Jeni’s Texas Sheet Cake flavor for me), it’s a sweet treat and one that fellow Lasso fans will appreciate, especially since the pint packaging is designed to look like an AFC Richmond zip-up jacket.
As the wise Ted Lasso once said, “Ice cream’s the best. It’s kinda like seeing Billy Joel perform live, you know? It never disappoints.” We’d have to agree!
Season 3 of Ted Lasso premieres March 15.
