Want to feel truly humbled by your past choices, so much so that you just might hide your face, crawl into a hole, and never come out? View your old Instagram bios by just opening the Instagram app and following these steps.
- Click on the profile icon across the bottom of your screen.
- Click on the three lines icon in the top right corner.
- Click on “Your activity.”
- Click on “Account history.”
- Scroll through your history.
- When you find an old bio you want to read, click the arrows next to “Bio.”
Just like that, you’re able to view every single bio you’ve painstakingly crafted since first creating an Instagram account — excessive emoji use, moody song lyrics, weird inside jokes, and all. Also under the same “Account history” section, you have access to every single username, full name, and link in bio from your past, in case you’re searching for more reasons to cringe at yourself. It looks like Instagram has had this capability (and other sneaky ones, like changing the photo order of a carousel post or changing the order of your Instagram feed) for a while now, but many users are just now realizing that this data is readily available, seeing as you have to dig through your settings a bit to find it.
