Hoda Kotb Surprises ‘Today’ Fans With Unforgettable Podcast Update on Instagram

Hoda Kotb shines every day when reporting the news on the Today show. But she also sparkles with her work in the audio industry.

In a new post uploaded to the daytime TV host’s Instagram, she shared that she won Best Interview/Talk Show for her podcast Making Space (currently in its third season) at the 2023 Webby Awards. As she shared candid photos from the night featuring her fellow podcast co-workers, she expressed her gratitude for the work they all put into creating the series. Hoda also gave actress Tracee Ellis Ross a sweet shout-out in her caption, who accepted the Special Achievement Award during the ceremony and appeared in the snaps too.

“Team #makingspace Congrats @missalib @minkat88 @soundslikebry on the @thewebbyawards!” she wrote about the big night on May 15. “Oh hi @traceeellisross congrats to you too!”

When fans saw Hoda commemorate the occasion on social media, lots of folks wasted no time sharing heartfelt words with her in the comments section.

“Congratulations!????????❤️,” one person wrote on Instagram. “Bravo!!! ????,” another follower added. “???? Congratulations!! When do you all rest! ????????,’ a different user asked.

Hoda’s latest accomplishment is just one of several career highs the broadcast journalist has toasted over the last few months. In early April, her Today show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Al Roker and Carson Daly helped her mark 25 years at NBC with a throwback clip of her first day at the news desk.

Additionally, she and her Today With Hoda and Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager achieved their own career milestone. The twosome celebrated another anniversary of the fourth hour segment on April 7. To mark the moment, Hoda and Jenna reflected on the years they have spent working together.

“You know what it is? I think when there is something that’s real, you are not pretending … it’s easy,” Hoda said during the taping. “You have to go through life and do things you have to do, but this is not that. This is the best.”
