Besides the Sharingan, the Byakugan (meaning White Eye) might be the most commonly spotted dōjutsu that exists in the Narutoverse, simply because we see Neji Hyūga and his clan members fire up their Byakugan from the start of the show. Only two clans are known to possess Byakugan, the Hyūga and the Ōtsutsuki. Unlike Sharingan users, the users of this dōjutsu are born with it, and their ocular prowess doesn’t develop like the others.
The Byakugan has several uses, but it basically provides a deeper capacity to see.
