Thanksgiving is a holiday that requires its host to wear many hats: cook, bartender, be a social butterfly and an air traffic controller. In order for the larger-than-life feast to flow as effortlessly as possible, everything from the timing of the food to the layout of the dishes requires an attention to detail unmatched by even the most in-demand event planner.
Choosing where and how the food is displayed gives guests a general idea of how to navigate the seemingly endless array of dishes, avoiding a ten-car pile-up in the middle of the kitchen. While it’s virtually impossible to avoid your family huddling around the table swooning over that delicious pecan pie dip, there are plenty of ways to make self-service easy as pie (or a spiced fig galette if you’re feeling fancy).

Thankfully, if you haven’t settled on how you’d like to display your meticulously prepared green bean bundles, there’s still time to shop for the perfect vessel. And there’s no better place to look than your local Aldi store
The German-based supermarket chain —famous for its lower-than-average prices on just about everything — has become a home goods destination of sorts in recent months. From a gorgeous Acacia Wood Serving Board to a copycat Le Creuset Oval Roaster, the retailer hasn’t let up on its initiative to deliver quality serveware at incredible prices. Continuing its efforts to double down, the grocer just added a slew of new products to its list of weekly Aldi Finds, and one in particular caught our eye.

An elegant, rich mahogany cake stand made its way to Aldi stores, and it’s just the thing we needed to give our tablescape a bit more “oomph” in the looks department. The Crofton Cake Stand is a statuesque display pedestal, large enough to hold a decent sized cake or pie. In addition to the gorgeous cake stand, the chain also dropped the Crofton 3-Tiered Buffet Server in a matching wood tone, which would be the perfect home for mini desserts or appetizers.
Each piece is priced to sell at just $9.99 and if you’re familiar with Aldi Finds, they won’t be around too much longer. If you still need help pulling everything together, this viral Thanksgiving spreadsheet is just the thing you need to make hosting this year easy as pecan pie.
