After 11 Seasons, The Walking Dead Fans Are Gearing Up For An Emotional Goodbye To The Series – Looper

November 20, 2022, will mark the final episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 11 and the final episode of “The Walking Dead” as a whole. It’s the end of a television era, and fans online have begun preparing themselves emotionally for the groundbreaking series to finally conclude. @grimes__clark on Twitter wrote, “I have watched the finale trailer an unhealthy amount of times, and I still have chills….I’M NOT READY,” while @lionheartamelia tweeted, “176 episodes have gone bye and now there’s only 1 left to go,” accompanied by a sad face. @ThompsonCandi simply wrote, “I’m not ready,” and honestly, who really is?

Even though it’s a lot to take on, the end of “The Walking Dead” is an inevitability whether we like it or not. However, at least we can expect the final episode to be a thrilling one, according to Daryl Dixon himself, Norman Reedus. He told Entertainment Weekly, “There’s a lot of adrenaline. There’s a lot of emotion. There’s a lot of fear. There are all of the things that you would want in a finale, for sure.” He goes on to mention that everyone dies in the last episode before clarifying that he’s just joking. The last thing anyone needs is comments like that making their way around the fandom without that caveat.

Whether you gave up on it part of the way through or have stuck with it to the very end, the conclusion of “The Walking Dead” will undoubtedly be an emotional television event for all who witness it.
