A “Bridgerton” immersive pop-up is coming to Denver, and costumes are highly encouraged

Updated Sept. 29 at 2:35 p.m. to include the venue where this event series will take place.

Calling all lords and ladies: Your attendance is requested at the fall opening of an immersive “Bridgerton” pop-up that will transport fans of the TV show to England’s Regency era with live music, cocktails and costumes. And yes, you’re invited to dress the part.

The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience is coming to The Brighton (3403 Brighton Blvd.) in Denver. Starting Oct. 30, it will be open Thursdays through Sundays when fans can book tickets for a 90-minute window to enjoy a live string quartet playing period music and plenty of regal photo ops.

Tickets cost $45 and go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 7. A closing date is also to be determined.

According to a press statement, ball attendees will be able to “interact with high society aristocratic characters to prove they are deserving of Her Majesty, the Queen’s attention,” and pose for pictures in an underground Regency-era painting studio. Other attractions include perusing high-end fashion of the day at Madame Delacroix’s modiste and a meeting with the queen herself.

Like other pop-ups, attendees will walk through the various rooms at The Queen’s Ball and interact with the characters and sets in the spaces. Additionally, there will be a bar serving themed cocktails and we’re told there will also be dancing.

The exhibition is produced by Netflix, Shondaland and Fever, which has helped produce other immersive installations like The Friends Experience and Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.

“At Shondaland we are breaking the boundaries of storytelling by providing our global audiences with curated experiences that go beyond the traditional avenues of content consumption,” said Sandie Bailey, Shondaland’s chief design and digital media officer, in a statement.

“Partnering with Fever and Netflix allows us to bring to life Regency era England for fans across the globe in an immersive experience unlike any other. We are excited to continue entertaining and engaging with Bridgerton fans on and off the screen.”
